The photo showed is the padding correctly secured with the hook and loop closure. Foam The foam we use is a closed-cell foam. This type of foam is a dense foam, similar to a pool noodle, that is more water-resistant. It can absorb an impact, but with little give. It has mitered edges and has a squared look once installed. Incorrect Installation The photo shows a pad that has been installed backward and incorrectly. The padding should not have the mitered edges showing on the outside. When installing your pad, look for the green oval sticker that reads "This Side Facing Pole", this would indicate which is the interior part of the pad, or reference installation instructions. Custom Sizing Most "standard" poles in any application: basketball goals, basements, playgrounds, office buildings, etc. are anything but. With all the various "standard" sizes, we offer 14 purchasable sizes that can be customized to any size needed. When checking out, put in the dimensions of your pole and we can make sure your padding is made to fit, or suggest an alternative padding size/option if needed. Closure Option With a hook and loop closure system that runs the length of padding, installation takes seconds. The padding can be easily removed and stored during harsh weather to help extend the life of the pad. Custom Height Upon check out, there are 3 standard heights available to purchase. If you don't see the height needed, select the closest size up then fill out the "Custom Height" section when adding to your cart. We only offer up to 6 ft tall to purchase on our standard 2-inch-thick pole pads. Cut Vinyl Decal Logos Add on a touch of personality and style to your pole pad with a custom logo. We maximize the print space available on the padding for the verbiage you wish to put on the padding. Up to 12 characters is suggested to keep the logo at an appropriate size and from becoming too small to read. It creates a great addition to a man cave, basketball goal, or out on the playing field.
